Yoga Brunch Club

The best things combined into a neat little package - Yoga, Brunch and Community Spirit!

Beginning at the Aloha Mo Studio, together we will move through a 1 hour 30 minute fully immersive Flow & Restore Yoga practice, inclusive of a Meditation. Carefully sequenced to soothe your nervous system and conclude your week in a nourishing way. Suitable for beginners!

Then, a gentle stroll over to The Cob Cafe for a nutritious Brunch, a hot drink, and a blether!

Ticket purchases will be refundable up to 14 days prior to the event. After this a refund will not be issued but can be transferred.

Skills & Drills Workshop

A practice dedicated to building the strength and technique that is often needed for more advanced asana poses, think arm balances, inversions, deep hip and heart opening.

The session will focus on a singular asana.

Moving through a Yoga flow specifically designed to warm up and open the body with the asana in mind.

Beginner friendly, it will offer a step by step guidance to achieve your asana.

Learning strength building drills and progressions that you can work on, building up confidence and also discussing common errors to avoid.

Progress towards, or even unlock your goals in a safe and fun environment!

Each session may include time at the end to practice other asanas of your own choosing with teacher support - time permitting.

Sound Bath & Gentle Yoga Retreat

Join Courtney for a wholesome afternoon of Gentle Yoga and Sound Bath.

Beginning the day with some feel good movements and stretches to ease your body and mind. Using calming breaths and mindful stretches you’ll connect deeply with yourself, relaxing the tensions of the mind and body through present moment focus.

Then stopping for a little warming tea, nibbles and optional mingle break before melting into a crystal singing bowl sound bath.

The seven crystal bowls are all tuned to different frequencies and when played the vibrations ripple through the air and through your physical body.

Sound travels in waves, our bodies have the wonderful ability of letting sound waves move through us helping to release tensions we hold in our organs, muscles and fascia.

The aim here is to listen to the bowls with your full body and potentially drift off into a mellow dream like state.

The sound bath will be paired with a reiki guided meditation to help relax you into your own peaceful space to be able to feel the vibrations of the bowls.

Warmth and comfort is key, feel free to bring any extra pillows and blankets to be extra cosy and some water.

Yin Yoga

A passive practice targeting the deep connective tissues through seated and lying postures held for long periods of time with the use of props to support your unique anatomy. Reducing inflammation and improving mobility. Yin will bring much needed balance to any Yang activity in your week. It is also important for a sedentary lifestyle.

Suitable for all levels and those recovering from injury.

Please do not partake in any active exercise for 2 hours after practice.

Hatha Yoga

A slower paced style which is appropriate for all levels of practitioners, including beginners, to de-stress and find calm. Each pose in Hatha is taken on its own and held for a few breaths, allowing for a more in depth examination of the asana, deeper flexibility and more mindfulness. A good practice for you to learn about your body in each pose, gaining strength and focus, which can be a great stepping stone to a Vinyasa practice.

Vinyasa Yoga

Often referred to as flow, in this practice you will move seamlessly from pose to pose syncing movement with each breath at a moderate pace. It encompasses a variety of asanas in a new flow each week keeping students present, engaged and developing a more balanced body. You will increase energy levels, boost cardiovascular health, open the body and awaken the mind.

Open to all levels.

Ashtanga

An energetic practice, flowing through a set sequence composed from the Ashtanga primary series. Enjoyable for people who like consistency, structure and intensity. Suitable for some beginners who already have a good level of strength/fitness looking to build their base knowledge on their alignment and postures.

Power Yoga

A fun and energetic vinyasa-style class with postures that all focus on building strength, core and stability whilst stretching.

Creative sequencing, linking breath to movement. The practice will give students the option to move through more intermediate postures and may include arm-balances, inversions and twists however these are all optional and variations are available.

Pilates

A low impact workout which will provide gentle strength training by moving through repetitive exercises in time with breath. A strong focus on working the core whilst simultaneously bringing flexibility into the body. Suitable for all levels Including beginners.

Restorative Yoga

This class is gentle and restorative. A relaxed & friendly community practice to help maintain and enhance range of motion, whilst supporting overall physical and mental well-being. Clear instructions are shared throughout and postures can be tailored to suit all abilities with use of props to provide additional support for anyone with limited mobility.

Vin to Yin

Like a bit of variety? This is a comprehensive class which brings 4 Yoga types into one for you to leave with no stone unturned.

Making our way from Yang through to Yin, we begin our practice with a rhythmic and more energetic Vinyasa flow which slows down mid way, moving through more even paced Hatha asanas and into static, healing, Yin holds. Ending with a Yoga Nidra to wind down for a relaxed evening at home, feeling fully nourished.

A nourishing blend of gentle movement and deep rest.

This class begins with a mindful flow to release tension, and connect with your breath.

We then transition into supported restorative postures inviting stillness, reflection and deep relaxation.

Chair Yoga

This welcoming, accessible class blends simple, chair-based stretches with mindful breathwork.

You’ll learn how to use your breath to soften tightness and bring yourself into the present moment.

Movements are slow and tailored to your comfort, making this class suitable for every body and every level.

Baby and Me Yoga

A Yoga class for parents with their babies and toddlers. A space where you can get a bit of movement and self care in and at minimum some breath work.

Alongside other understanding parents, all accepting of the nature of babies and toddlers being present.

Inclusive of a brew, biscuits and conversations about parenthood - it’s wonderful bits as well as its challenging bits. Sharing experiences and offering each other advice.

Yoga Parties

Birthday? Hen do? Looking for a staff wellbeing event for your company or perhaps you just want to arrange to gather with friends and do some yoga?

Throw a yoga party at our studio!

You will have 3 hours exclusive use, inclusive of a yoga class led by one of our experienced teachers with mats and props provided for a maximum of 12 people. The practice can be tailored to your vibe whether it be high energy or relaxed.

£180.00

Usage longer than 3 hours is charged at an addition of £15ph.

A one on one Yoga session tailored to your needs in your desired Yoga practice. Prior to the session we will have a phone call consultation to determine what you would like to gain from your session.

Available Tuesdays from 11:30 - 14:30 and every second Saturday 10:30 - 12:30.
